The southernmost Scandinavian country, Denmark consists of the Jutland peninsula and over 400 islands, including Zealand where the capital Copenhagen is located. A pioneer in wind energy, social welfare, and design, Denmark consistently ranks among the world's happiest countries. The Kingdom of Denmark also encompasses the autonomous territories of Greenland and the Faroe Islands.
