Myanmar
A Southeast Asian nation bordering India, China, and Thailand, Myanmar (Burma) has the region's most diverse ethnic composition with over 135 recognized groups. The purpose-built capital Naypyidaw replaced Yangon (Rangoon) in 2006, though Yangon remains the largest city. Myanmar is home to thousands of ancient Buddhist temples in Bagan and the unique floating gardens of Inle Lake.
