Tuvalu
The world's fourth-smallest country by area and second-least-populous UN member state, Tuvalu is a Polynesian island nation of nine tiny atolls in the central Pacific. The capital Funafuti has a maximum elevation of just 4.6 meters above sea level. Tuvalu famously earns significant revenue from its internet country code domain '.tv,' which it licenses to television-related websites. Climate change and rising seas threaten the nation's very existence.
