Vanuatu
A South Pacific archipelago of 83 volcanic islands, Vanuatu is one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse nations per capita, with over 100 indigenous languages. The capital Port Vila on Efate island blends Melanesian and French-British colonial influences. Vanuatu is home to one of the world's most accessible active volcanoes (Mount Yasur on Tanna) and pioneered bungee jumping with its traditional land diving ritual.
