Venezuela
A Caribbean coast nation in northern South America, Venezuela holds the world's largest proven oil reserves and is home to Angel Falls — the world's tallest uninterrupted waterfall. The capital Caracas sits in a mountain valley at about 900 meters elevation. Once one of Latin America's wealthiest nations, Venezuela has experienced severe economic collapse and political crisis since the mid-2010s.
