Yemen
Occupying the southwestern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, Yemen has a history stretching back to the ancient kingdoms of Sheba and Himyar. The capital Sana'a, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities, features remarkable multi-story mudbrick tower houses. Yemen has been devastated by civil war since 2014, creating one of the world's worst humanitarian crises.
